Ever since I was a child, I have LOVED fast food. The thought of hot, crispy, savory food makes me so excited. My siblings were more interested in sweets, but I was the savory gal. I love this recipe because it's incredibly easy, and you can take this recipe as a base to do whatever you want with it. This recipe uses chicken, but I like to do it with cheese, fish or mushrooms. You could even use vegetarian chicken pieces to change it up.

Recipe
Prep time: 15 mins
Cooking time 10-15
Makes: 16 nuggets
Ingredients:
-1-2 Chicken Breasts (I used one, which made 16, but depending on how much you want to make, the number of this may vary)
-100g Breadcrumbs
-100g Plain Flour
-2-3 Eggs
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp ground black pepper
-1tsp garlic powder/granules
-2 tsp paprika
-2 tsp dried parsley
-1-2 tsp chilli powder (depends how spicy you want it)
Directions:
1. Cut the chicken up into bite size pieces.
2. Put the flour into a bowl and season.
3. Whisk the eggs with the milk in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
4. In a third bowl, pour in the breadcrumbs and mix with all of the seasonings.
5. Roll the nuggets into the flour, making sure they’re coated well. Roll the nuggets in your hands to get any extra flour off.
6. Dip the floured chicken into the egg wash, using a fork to make sure any extra egg drips off.
7. Finally, roll the nuggets into the breadcrumb mix, then transfer to a plate.
8. Heat up a frying pan to medium-high heat and pour in enough sunflower or vegetable oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
9. Fry the nuggets in the pan for around 3-5 minutes, until both sides are crispy and golden and the meat is cooked through. Transfer onto a paper towel lined plate to get any extra oil off.
10. Serve with mayo, ketchup, ranch, or any dip you like! Enjoy!
